The results of the assessment provide an overview of possible measures to decarbonise your building stock. This is done on an overarching level, sometimes with assumptions and average price tags per renovation measure. However, this assessment cannot provide you with the energy and carbon reduction figures that will need to be measured after a building’s renovation, or the exact costs of your renovation.
In addition to varying labour and material costs and depending on your pre-agreed supplier contracts, renovation processes are always subject to unexpected factors that may require additional and unforeseeable planning, assessment or construction efforts. Furthermore, the accuracy of the construction work and the “energy consumption habits” of your customers can affect the success of your renovation works and cannot be predicted. We can advise on a range of measures with possible energy saving and decarbonisation potential along with estimates for investment or life cycle costs. However, real costs can only be gained through your service providers, the final agreed contracts and your buildings’ energy performance which needs to be measured after the renovation.
This assessment is carried out based on the latest technologies. As technology and other variables change over time, this study should be repeated at least every three years to get the optimal results.
